Operational effectiveness in the hospitality industry is strongly influenced by internal managerial practices and the organizational climate that shapes employee behavior. Among these factors, leadership styles and service climate play central roles in determining how effectively hospitality firms deliver consistent service quality, maintain workforce engagement, and achieve operational goals. This study investigates the predictive power of leadership styles and service climate on operational effectiveness within hospitality organizations. Drawing from transformational and servant leadership theories, as well as service climate frameworks, the research develops an integrated model to examine how leadership shapes employee perceptions of service expectations and how these perceptions translate into organizational performance outcomes. Previous studies have explored leadership and service climate independently; however, limited empirical work has analyzed their combined impact on operational effectiveness, presenting a significant research gap. Using this theoretical foundation, the study proposes that leadership styles directly influence service climate and that both variables jointly contribute to improved operational effectiveness. The findings of this research are expected to provide deeper insight into the mechanisms through which managerial behavior and organizational climate enhance service performance and operational productivity. The study contributes novel evidence to hospitality literature by integrating two critical constructs—leadership and service climate—within a single predictive framework. The results offer practical implications for hospitality managers seeking to strengthen organizational capability through targeted leadership development and climate-enhancing strategies.
